What about the rain season?
As of calendar the rain season starts from June 1st and lasts officially until November 30th. But this is only a rough indication.
Most of the rain showers are between July- September when it can rain all night and sometimes even during the day.
Of course, we cannot predict tropical storms in the area, but often the rain is a welcoming change to the hot and humid tropical climate.
Do I need to get travel insurance?
We do recommend it to all our guests. It’s a good prevention for any inconvenience regarding flight delays or cancellations especially during rain and hurricane season.
Make sure your travel insurance also covers you in case of illness, accident or theft.
