My girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights (sadly, we could not stay longer). We had a beachfront room with rooftop jacuzzi. The room was beautifully decorated, extremely clean, had a very comfortable bed and fantastic shower. All staff members we encountered were as friendly as could be and went out of their way to help. The food and drinks at the on-site restaurants (ziggy’s and fresco’s) were brilliant. The ability to order anything you want to your room via Whatsapp is also a nice touch. Extra amenities such as hammocks and very comfortable deckchairs on balconies and beach bags in every room make this hotel that little bit more special. The rooftop jacuzzi and sun beds are also amazing and very private. No need to leave your room, really. Highly recommended.

This was my second visit to Hotel Cabanas Tulum and the first with my whole family. We have older children- in their 20s- and it was the perfect stay for us all. The location is excellent, on a beautiful stretch of white beach well maintained by the excellent staff. The hotel has a wonderful friendly restaurant- Ziggys- which has excellent healthy fresh meals and terrific service. Ziggy’s also serves as a bar with wonderful cocktails and the best margaritas! The hotel is also within walking distance from fun bars and restaurants in Tulum which we enjoyed. Our girls loved the local bar scene. I really can’t recommend the hotel staff highly enough. They are extremely helpful in planning activities and see to all your needs promptly. The rooms are very comfortable and you cannot beat the ability to step off your porch right onto the beach or listen to the ocean at night. I really cannot recommend this hotel more highly. We will be back for sure!

Cabanas Tulum is just AMAZING, and it really is a treat. Thank you Eli, Tania, Viridiana, Roberto, and Alejandro, you are simply the best staff. Personable, caring, and always wanting to help with a smile. You made our trip memorable and we just can’t wait to come back. Cabanas Tulum is a pure gem. Beautiful property right on the beach with gorgeous gardens, a refreshing pool, and clean comfortable rooms with AC (a treat to sleep well after spending days at the beach and/ or exploring the endless activities in the jungle), and that are all decorated with good taste. The ones with the roof top terrace with lounge area and spa tubs are just awesome. The beach has great natural shade with many palm trees which many places don’t have. Really nice spot to have a ceviche at lunch and gaze at the turquoise sea. Breakfast and lunch at Fresca’s is another treat. Delicious and healthy food and exceptional service and again, always with a smile. Ziggy’s (connected to Cabanas) is also another excellent option for great food, an amazing setting and live music each night. Cheers to the Cabanas team for creating such a warm, welcoming and unforgettable atmosphere in one of the most beautiful spots in the world.
